Conference
Research presented and discussed
Entrepreneurial ecosystems change faster than the policy written for them. New technologies, new forms of finance and new kinds of founders appear every year, and governments in Korea and elsewhere respond with new laws, funds and support programmes.
Research can show which of these policies work, for whom and why. To make a difference, it has to reach the people who design and deliver policy, and it has to be comparable across countries.
The IFEED Conference is where that research is presented and discussed.
About
The IFEED Conference is IFEED’s main annual meeting. It brings together researchers, policymakers and practitioners who work on entrepreneurial ecosystem policy in Korea, the UK, the US, the European Union and other economies.
Speakers present new research and policy practice, and every session leaves time for discussion of what the findings mean for government, the National Assembly and the organisations that support SMEs and startups.
Aims
- Research. Present new research on entrepreneurial ecosystems and the policy that shapes them, in Korea and other countries.
- Comparison. Compare Korean policy for SMEs and startups with policy in the UK, the US, the European Union and other major economies.
- Connection. Connect researchers with the people who design and deliver policy, so that evidence reaches decisions.
Duration
One day, held once a year.
